I will know there is a God if I live to see Collingwood defeat Carlton in a grand final

A wonderful dream
Mine is us winning the GF 5 times in a row while Carlscum win the wooden spoon 5 times in a row.

5 in a row is definitely a wet dream, personally I'd like to see it against - Richmond, Hawthorn, Brisbane, Geelong & Carlton.

nice.....

Didn't mention a desire to see Carlton disappear from the AFL Thommo, I'm with you in finding them the perfect receptacle for all my bile . . but suffer???

Oh my yes suffer the suffering of the damned for all eternity.

Mmmmmm . . . scrumptious!!!

Carlscum existing as bottom dwellers - getting thrashed by the Pies year after year - watching us win flags and build a mighty army while they become an average club with an 'old' rivalry with the Pies would be wonderful!

I don't want them to fold - no way - each year brings new hope and I want to see them hope and then have it inevitably crushed! I would like to see more Liberals come out and dodgy business tycoons to lead the way for the old dark navy blues only to fail miserably… I love what is happening at Bloozerland over the last decade - and long may it continue! Smile

I was managing a botique CBD car park when Ian Rice was president of the scum (he was a permanent stall holder at the car park).

Had a number of chats with him and what it all boils down to is that the presidency, not the club was the lure.

Power and the ability to impose his will.

Very typical of the Carlton mindset.

Its just so classic that in trying to get rid of the 'saviour' complex with Kernahan going and bringing Mick to an end - they get SOS.

Its just a pisser.

They are nowhere near their bottom.

SOS is the new messiah. With him on board they can get there quicker than any other club in the same position. Yeah right!

Carlton are now like GWS when they started except, GWS was a shiny new model who had that new smell. Carlton are starting from scratch but still retain a putrid stench.

Running up huge debt, a horrible list & a long rebuild in front of them, another faction plotting to topple the board.

This is bliss. Smile

Perhaps I'm just expressing my own concern about it.

Buy them and maintain them as our lower level team in the AFL

They stay at the bottom and get good draft picks who are then on traded to the Pies if and when required.

Ideal situation. Pies winning cups because we have the highest number of A graders in the comp and Carlton being depleted of talent and winning spoons.

Occasionally we should allow another team to win a flag as a treat.
