Neil much appreciated. It's one of the fist threads I look for anytime!
Great that you have underlined Jame's set of skills. Looking forward to seeing how he develops. Broomy is another I'm hoping can get off to a great season. The wizardry we are acquiring and have (Pendles, Sidey)with the hardness of Adams, Crisp and Greenwood coupled with the speed of Treloar Varcoe, can't wait to see it all unfold. |

Me too Steve. Brian didn't appear here last year. Maybe he thinks Collingwood Media can do it all now, but like you, I loved seeing heaps and heaps of training pics. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

In response to a few questions:
Dave & Jezza: Aish looked elite with the ball because he hit targets, was composed and poised and I just got the impression this boy is going to be an unruffable type like Sharenberg and Pendles. They just make you feel confident when they have the ball.
Pies2016: Ramsay did train today. He did everything except the time trial.
BucksIsFutureCoach: Tim Golds was out to impress. He was one of the first on the track and nipped at the heels of Crisp in the time trial. Didn't watch him with the ball however. Was too busy tracking Aish.
The LoneStar: The 2 km time trial was run on the athletics track around the oval. They did 4 laps. I got the times directly from Bill Davoren. He was yelling the times out as each player finished. Some of them were too quick for me to catch, but I think we got enough to be able to fill the gaps. Crispy, although leading from start to finish, was disappointed with his time. I think he was pushing for a PB and didn't get it. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

Thanks Neil. Witts finishing in front of anyone other than another ruckman is very interesting (particularly a rebounding half back). Athletically he seems to have incredible potential. |
There's another way of looking at it ...
A bit of a worry for Williams, Maynard and Oxley.
Thanks for the report Neil. Great job. _________________ All We Can Be |
