Quote: | The most successful coach in Wolves' history was mercurial but had no problem laughing at himself and never held a grudge |
Basketball lost one of the real good guys yesterday, and the Timberwolves (and the state of Minnesota) lost a legend and favourite son.
RIP Flip, and thanks for everything you did for the Wolves.

A great mentor. And a great coach.
The tributes from all his players has been amazing. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I have watched Flip many times during interviews and pressers. I could tell he was a very kind man, very down to earth.
A huge loss for the Timberwolves and Minnesota community.
I am so happy the players won today for Flip. He would have been proud. |

I must admit I don't know much about basketball at all but this is sad to hear! I didn't realise that the person in your avatar was actually Flip Saunders KM until I looked him up now.
