It's been a long time coming but no doubt one of the footballs greatest wrongs has finally being corrected by the mighty Pies once again taking the lead in the total wins vs the Scum that is Carlton.

Their salary cap cheating, umpire assisted and accursed bad luck losses by Collingwood to the Scum that is Carlton remain a chip on my shoulder than I'll never get over, but every victory that Collingwood has against this the most vile of all other clubs helps ease the pain of previous aggrieved losses.

Never give in, never surrender and always hate Carlton!!

Indeed Wink

That suspension from the upcoming draft cost them the selections that secured both Daniel Wells and Brendan Goddard; epic fail.

We've won 17 of the past 21 games.

Unreal really.

Keep going back and it's 22 wins of the last 30 games.

Bolded for pride; nice bump - almost as good as Weitering's, which had BT crying like a little bitch for the entire broadcast...

^ Edited and bolded Wink

Such a good feeling. Hope we consolidate it in Round 23 when we play them next.

Oh! Thought 2022 was one of those anomaly seasons where we only play them once! My bad; anyhoo, we'll have to kick a little straighter at goal then.

It's been 3,186 days since they last won a final, and that was only after they were promoted into the Final 8 post Essendon's disqualification.
Strip that anomaly out, it'd be 3,914. Just something else to remind them as they start to consider life without Weitering, McGovern and McKay.

And if they baulk at that, remind them we lost Elliott and Reid for the 2018 season, Moore played 7 games and had season ending surgery. Broomhead broke his leg, Goldsack did his ACL, and Treloar's sickening hamstring tears, Dunne's 3rd knee reconstruction, and Scharenberg. And while we're at it, throw in Wells hamstrings. How we made the GF I'll never know.

Yes Wink

Also beat them by a point in 1909, 1912 and 1916.

Last time we had a +2 differential in H2H clashes against them was in 1977.

Carlton cheated the salary cap. Never forget.

388 days since Carlton last beat Collingwood (R18 Sun 18-Jul-2021)
3,270 days since Carlton last won a final*

*promoted into the Final 8 post Essendon's disqualification.

Amazing to think that it was almost....

129/5/128, or even more perverse: 129/4/129; blech...

The weight of anxiety that left me yesterday on that siren, was tangible...
