I saw the kid play juniors and he moves like a jungle cat, he has all the skills, and I totally believe he'll be a true gun, even more so than Treloar (who is also a gun, don't worry about that!). He has the "x-Factor" which means he can do things most guys can't, but he did have a crap second year, lots and lots of kids do.
We would've taken Aish at 6 in the draft, but briz got him at 5 and we took Shaz and Freeman. We could end up with all 3! Believe me we want him, I just hope we don't hafta give up another future gun to get him.
If he does nearly as well as Crisp (the 'steak knives' we got instead of Aish!), another kid who wanted to come home, how good are we looking!? |
I honestly know nothing about this kid, so I'm heartened by your opinion of him. I'm starting to think we're aiming to go to the big dance in 2016. |

Not Quite right - we took scharenburg at 6 and bris took aish at 7.
We were right into Bontempelli but he went at 4.
I think we were after the bigger body and Scharenburg at the time while playing half back was touted as a potential tall mid - still is.
Aish has a huge upside. had a great first year and I suspect all was not well this year on a number of fronts. I wouldn't be surprised if as the rumors suggested at the time he would have happily been a part of the beams deal if he could.
Treloar is elite. He is a gun who gut runs to get involved. I watched him live on sat and the amount of times he won the ball in the back line and ran the full length of the ground not to be used was staggering. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

Interestingly Nick mentioned on Mondays with Maxy today that next week they would discuss possible trade bait. This is pretty unusual for them discuss it openly. No doubt just tactics as nothing would be said unsanctioned, however even the mention of a name would be surprising. |

Maxy does not have the Connections at the Pies as he had.
So he be allowed to do that as he would not know what the club thinks and is planning _________________ I am Da Man |

Not so sure about that Dave. He would know plenty but wouldn't be permitted to say anything 'sensitive' unless it was cleared from upstairs. Guess next week's Monday with Maxy will be pretty much a generic affair. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

I'd do a trade for Billy Slater. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Either way come next Monday she'll be on for young and old as the bottom eight teams start chasing new players. |

Agree, I would be shocked if he named ( Collingwood ) names. It will be more about positional requirements and needs.
I would be really disappointed if he put a Colingwood players name up and I would like to think the club is better than that.
All good things come to those who wait. |
