Oh for Pete's sake. Scharenberg is not leaving. Period. It's complete crap. No way known we would let him go. It is just crazy to suggest it. He will be a star and he is ours. That is all. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

What if he doesn't want to stay?
Most generally use Scharenberg in trade discussions with this scenario in mind.
He's debuted now so I expect a signature soon. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Can't see treloar coming now after the past few weeks. GWS are seemingly ahead of us in terms of overall development, but with way more upside (provided they keep their list together). Money and / or agent pressure are the only things that'll get him now. |

For Sidey to be hitting up our players 14 times a quarter he'd have to be getting 20-25 possessions... bit of a stretch for a quarter... |

I heard a whisper that Richmond have increased their interest in Treloar in recent times. Be a pity to loose a potential A-Grader to the Tigers who we will be fighting with at similar stages of development over the next couple of years. Come on Mr Hine, get the deal done! _________________ Collingwood Domination. Envy of the Nation! |

Apologies if it has already been mentioned but I suspect we'll use this year's and next year's first round picks to get him. Lock it in, Eddie. |

No one is worth 2 first round draft picks. |

Dunno, there are players you'd give two first round picks for.
I don't think Treloar is one of them though. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yeah I suppose a key power forward would be worth 2 first rounders, but I'd be worried if they were traded for a midfielder. |

Interesting news out on future pick trading - teams have to use 2 1st round picks in any 4 year period. If a team trades a future first round pick that is the only future trade they can make that year. Also, future trades are only the following year. I'd say with father sons the Pies would be reluctant to spend a future trade for Treloar. Expect a lot of 3, 4 or even 5 club deals to get GWS the points they need for their academy picks from any Treloar trade. _________________ McRae for Governor-General! |
