Trades can and do take time and I am glad to see the club playing for the end game and not expecting and relying on a stratagy that does not cater for complex soluitions that take imigination to solve.

Some of the factors in play are outside the clubs influnce and control and the only thing that counts is the end result.

I seem to recall that MOST of Collingwood's trades are done in week 2 and close to the death. Luke Ball springs to mind. The Beams trades were all done late as will all 3 trades!!!! this year. Richmond have secured Jacob Townsend ,so Treloar will be off their radar,Howe is all but a done deal and Aish is being discussed with the relevant parties after the Lyings "Back flipped"?? The 3 will be done and who knows ,there may even be more.

National output slumped whilst alleged workers were glued to Nick's or big footy.

Dave the Man withdrew from his normal hawk-eyed analysis of Nick's and BigFooty to pour over every utterance and rumour on SEN and Trade Radio; digested it, summarised it and then posted for our convenience.

The bread rolls are still fresh and no trade will be done until they are all gone

Ok, ok, I know it takes time! I know there are nuances and permutations that I cannot begin to understand,

BUT,

HURRy tHe F*&^ uP!!!!!
Not an hour goes by that the media don't beat up some off-hand comment into: "Pies to miss the boat", "Treloar not done deal", "Howe did Magpies fail?"
But with some pissweak 'pun' in the headline! Unfortunately only Howe makes for easy punning, Aish hardly rhymes with anything!
But oh how he's going to go perfectly with Pendles, Sidebottom, Swan, DeGoey, Greenwood, Adams, Treloar, Varcoe, Crisp, Caff, Shazza, Maynard, Williams and Howe.

Surely that would be the greatest midfield ever put together?!

Add Cloke, Moore and Elliot kicking the snags, and Langdon, Tooves, Brown, & Marsh stopping them, and there surely couldn’t be any excuse for missing finals in '16?!
