None because all Collingwood trades are deemed unfair or outrages by media and opposition clubs. _________________ There is Collingwood and then the rest. |

True, the only 2 highly rated players I can think of who were sent to the draft because a deal couldn't be arranged were Stevens and Ball, we dodged a bullet with Stevens, but we did low ball Port on that one, mostly because we just didn't have anything of value to give, Lyon £$%$ed himself with Ball.
So if Aish goes to the draft, we'll be involved in all 3.
Treloar should be done first thing on day one, but we all know they'll **** us around for the Lolz, both clubs will be locked in the negotiating room with BF on the big screen pissing themselves laughing. _________________ Defender...........

Expected outs: Seedsman. Kennedy. A lot of picks. Freeman.
Possible outs: Oxley.
Expected in: Treloar
Possible in: Aish. Port player. Melbourne player.
We must get Treloar done early. I thought our first pick and a pick from next year would get it done. But it's worrying that Carlton have more to offer.
We'd want to move Freeman on pretty quickly too.
Honestly, I just want to get Treloar over the line. I wish it started today.
It'll be a Nightmare if we lost Treloar now and even more so if we lost Aish too. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I actually think we need to get the Treloar deal done prior to finalising any potential trades for Freeman et al. The picks we get for them are then available for GWS to try and grab in the Treloar negotiations. |

What more do Carlton have to offer? Will they be giving up pick one?
The player also has to agree to the trade. If Treloar wants us he'll get here _________________ http://youtu.be/hvtdbfI1sqQ |

Treloar.
We'll want to get our ducks in a row for the rest of the trade period and GWS will want to do the same. It's pretty important for both clubs to get this done ASAP in my opinion.
I'm still relatively confident the Aish deal will happen, but Brissy will play hardball until late and will try to milk the deal for all it's worth. |

Treloar and Aish must get to Collingwood for a sustained period of success at Collingwood.
These two are talents and are available and want to get to Collingwood. The stars are aligned and if someone gets in the road railroad the Pr*&%s.
Just get the deal done. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

I hear you but my gut feeling is that this will be an exact re-run of the Nick Steven’s affair that ended with him going from Port to the scum.
I have read the quotes from the Brions and they sound as fair dinkum as those attributed to then Port Adelaide coach Choco Williams who stood by his statements.
Ironically, many posters here still support what Choco Williams did, although I have always stated that he totally lost me as a supposed Collingwood legend member by his behaviour that day. I wonder if those same posters now support Matthews and Greg Swan for denying Collingwood again? _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. I definitely wouldn't rule it out, but to me they'd have to be pretty damn stupid to let him walk for nothing out of spite, I just think there's no way they can afford to do it.
Given the exodus they've had of recent times, they need to get something back for a guy they took with pick 7 only two seasons ago. Is it worth shooting themselves in the foot just to make a point?
And even then, who's to say that point will have the effect they want. Some players might see it as Brisbane being an undesirable club to play for due to their treatment of certain players leaving and the sheer amount that want out every season anyway. |

Yes. Get Treloar done ASAP. But we need to move Freeman to St Kilda quickly (but after Treloar), as they'll be tied up trying to get Carlisle across.
The Saints have said they won't move pick 5 for Carlisle, and their next pick is 24, and that's probably what we're looking at for Freeman. After that, they have pick 42. So if 5 is off the table, then they'll be looking at 24 plus a player to Essendon, which leaves it awkward to trade Freeman there. (I'm hoping we can move the two picks we'd have in the early 20's for Aish, or any other deals which may occour).
The other thing of course, is if Essendon, St Kilda and Collingwood can work out some kind of three way??
Moving on to Melbourne/Kennedy. Would their pick 25 be up for grabs? We could end up with pick 24, 25 & 26 after Freeman and Kennedy are delt. Or would we prefer a player in return for BenKen? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |
