The only question would be is he the style of player we need?

Looks to me to be a good runner and I suspect that's one of our priorities. Is more inside and wins the contested ball (we like that) but has good pace as well.
Just watching and waiting at the moment. We don't have any strong links to these players yet. _________________ Well done boys! |

He is a very valuable commodity and if we could extract him from a Kennedy deal it would be gold. |
Great post, jdpie1970. If we can snag Treloar and Cam Ellis-Yolman in the draft.............I will sh!t gold nuggets! Sold!
Go the Pies! |

Come on be honest. |
Didn't he carve us up in the game that Port knocked us out of the finals at the MCG a couple of years ago? _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

I can't remember that happening. Just read a match report and his name wasn't mentioned, apart from coming on in the third...

You have to ask yourself why multiple clubs are chasing Seedsman. Actually, i'll answer that myself - they reckon he has a lot to offer. Same with kennedy. Our club does not give them a proper chance. Other players can get picked week in week out, with not ever being better than average at best. |

When players are in a system for a period there is a focus on what they cannot do rather than what they can. This becomes myopic and the "good stuff" falls into the fog. It is not Collingwood centric. |

Crisp impressed against the Pies in late 2014. Maybe that was the impetus for us to pursue him. If Cam Ellis-Yolman really impressed our recruiters earlier in the year, they may well think he's worth snapping up.
Anyway, how long since Collingwood has had a hyphenated name? For that reason alone, I say get him in. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

I can't find any listings in Collingwood history of a hyphenated name. But I stand to be corrected. Standby for some pearlers from the standing room section. Tannin? _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!
