A spokesperson for Immigration Minister Peter Dutton confirmed Mr Newman departed Australia this morning, after losing a High Court bid yesterday.

Kind of raises the question of whether the government would try to stop such an event from taking place. What's the difference, really?

Then we'll see how far we've really fallen. The fact that university is already the centre of speech bans and safe spaces I'm not optimistic.
