I remember thinking 15-20 years ago it was going to take a sustained form increase on our part and even more sever and sustained drop in Carlton's before before we even got close to catching them in the win-loss race.
They won't play finals next season so it looks like 2017 is the year!

Justin Davies did absolutely nothing in his career except kick three goals in both matches against us in 2004! Mad

Overall they're all shockers but Friday April 13 2012 is still etched into my mind to this very day and that's why I relish in Carlton's misery at the moment.
The arrogance of their supporters that night was unbearable and I can only imagine what our older supporters went through in 1970, 1979 and 1981.

Yes, Justin Davies should be elevated to a higher ranking of the Filth player we Love to Hate. I'm sure we have a thread on this that needs updating?

The filth forever tarnished 1970, the year of my birth.
1979 and 1981 nearly put me into junior psychotherapy.
The wounds will never fully heal, scarred for life methinks.

That f*******aaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh Justin Davies game was the last time I bet on Collingwood results.
Had a running bet with a Carlton supporter over who would finish higher on the ladder each season. A slab with $200 enclosed.

We went into that game 4 points ahead on the ladder but about 0.2% behind the pr1cks is my memory.
We were also 6 goals up at 3/4 time AND kicked the first goal in the last quarter.
Enter Justin fkn Davies with 4 goals in the last quarter, they roll us by less than a kick finishing above us on the ladder by 0.2% or 0.3% (or something like that), and I get placed on suicide watch by those close to me!

I shudder at the memory.......

Scotland and Nick Stevens contribute 40 possessions between them.
Thanks Mark Williams, you traitor dog.

No Presti for the Pies, and Fevola eats 6.1 to sink us.

And KM, that sure was one expen$ive $lab Crying or Very sad

Must have been the day for those from Wales.

I remember Leon Davis kicking the goal to put us 27 points up early in the last then, sometime later, enter my workmate from Brisbane, Umpire Adam Davis.
He pays Fev a free on the boundary line around 40 metres out.
I just remember screaming at the TV at Adam for paying it and of course Fev kicked it.

So 20 points at 3/4 time not 6 goals..... time adds a bit of mayonnaise I suppose!! Rotten egg mayonnaise in this case. Crying or Very sad Evil or Very Mad

Thanks for the stats Dyso and Selkevh.

I clearly remember when Leon kicked the first goal in the last quarter even as a young 10 year old but after that the match was a blur for me!

I probably just tried to block it out of memory after all these years. One of our worst losses against Carlton I can recall in my lifetime but I suppose every loss to Carlton is devastating.

Oh, and wear the Rollergirl outfit too please. Laughing

First of all, I can't roller skate for shit!

And secondly, I doubt I'd be able to put on a pair of tight shortie shorts & a tight tank top after my kids destroyed my boobs & stomach!

I can wear my uggs & trackies if you want but!

Bloody kids - friggin' wreck everything!!
Look, let's just turn up to the shrinks in our black and white clobber, which is what got us into this mess in the first place...

Then we can ask the shrink about my Heather Graham obsession...
