Minimum: in the final 8. Or good bye Bucks.

Hope it will finish around 5th and make a strong pitch for 2017's flag.

I'd like to order a Premiership victory thank you, preferably against the Hawks (to stop their run) or the Scum.

I expect them to finish somewhere in the 5-10 positions. Depends on the natural improvement of the other teams around our mark and who we will recruit to better the team.
This maybe a fair question to ask just before the season rather than now.

Well, Richmond, West Coast and Bulldogs have gone past us in the last couple of years.
We need to make up some lost ground and then some.

Didn't think the OP was about Buckley per say, rather the Collingwood team.... Shocked
No doubt their will be 10 or 20 threads calling for his head in 2016 anyway so can the Buckley haters please wait at least till then? Confused

I am not a "Buckley hater". I think the so-called ""perceptive fellow"" probably think I am a "Buckley apologist". However, I've reached my limit and believe he's had enough leeway, now. It is time for the Club to improve its on-field performance in very significant ways.

In any event, feel free to read the OP again - top 8 or goodbye Bucks, he says.

I think the boys will be looking at how far the wegirls got this year and believe they can do the same and get into a GF next year. Hopefully go one better and snag a flag.

I think we're at the beginning of a special era Wink

We're still too young to be a real threat for the flag but making the finals should be well within range.

My expectation is to win the close games so the other team can have the honourable loss. We do that we are top four.

Further improvement in the playing group.

Given a likely favourable fixture again and a decent run with injuries, this would likely manifest itself in 2016 with 12-16 wins and, based on that, a top 8 finish with hope of competing for top 4.

It is too simplistic to merely look at the wins/losses when measuring whether the team is improving. As disappointing as the second half of 2015 was, the team improved in so many metrics and is well on the way to getting back to a premiership-standard offence (defence is already premiership-standard based on the much quoted Champion Data metric).

Need 2 or more extra goals a game and we are back in the hunt. Finishing skills such as goal kicking accuracy will be an important part of this (although I also expect more opportunities for shots on goal).

Roar's is a sensible thought ...... We still don't know what the list will be, and hopefully we will cover our needs for a list on the rise!
