History shows our medal is a great guide to the Copeland, but damn, I reckon its gunna be tight this year, Pendles was good but nowhere near his best, Swanny was good as were Varcoe and Adams, Crisp was good early but tailed off in the latter part.

My tip, Pendles in a developed print from Adams and Swanny, Varcoe 4th.

2 wins = 1654 votes (827/game)
1 loss = 417 votes

Twice as many 'voters' when we win Smile Smile

Hmmm Round 2.... 417 votes ???? Can't be possible. 28 people vote, 15 votes each (5, 4, 3, 2, 1) = 420 votes Confused 3 missing votes.

Round 3 ... 859 votes ??? Again, not possible. 58 people vote, 15 votes each = 870 votes Confused 11 missing votes.

We're 3 rounds in people, and already, there's 14 votes floating somewhere in cyberspace Mad Not good enough Evil or Very Mad

Skids, people will often only name two or three players, or else sometimes have players 'tied' on the last spot. You get a lot of idiosyncratic voting – I know, because I had to deal with that kind of stuff all the time when I used to do the counting.

Anyway, great work so far CC. Looking forward to the whole count, and hope we get some pleasant surprises. Smile

Well Pendles is holding steady with a lead of 19.5 over Swan on 14.5. He has polled in all but 2 rounds with 4 BOG's and a smattering of other handy votes. Just how much will he win by in the end? Swan and Sidey will take a few more votes in the second half of the season but surely not enough.

Despite his odd few bad games and obvious injury that he's been carrying I think he'll do pretty well in the Brownlow too, statistically he's up there with Priddis and Fyfe apart from less clearances. Our poor end to the year will definitely mean he polls no higher than 4th or 5th.

Nut, not good enough. If there were incomplete votes cast, they should be considered a donkey vote and none of those votes counted.

So would you like me to personally message every Nickster asking to complete their votes? Me, I don't give a crap, if some wants to vote 5,4,3 or 3,2,1 or even just 5 I'll count it. I draw the line when someone gives three players the final vote or gives half votes, I'll just use the first name listed. At the end of the day, 90% of the time there are more than 28 voters per round, so even when Eddiesmith gives Cloke 5 votes a game it makes little difference;)
