Will be interesting to see which way the club goes with this one, is there anything to gain from playing him in the VFL finals? Sure it'd be nice to win the GF but do we really want one of our few A graders risking his body for something that doesn't mean much considering how injury prone he is?

No, unless Dr Chris Bradshaw says it's the best rehab for the bits of him that went haywire. Love the VFL, but there are limits.

I suppose we could argue that he shouldn't have played today as well, let's face it today's game meant less to me than the VFL game next week.

The druggie defender kneed him in the right hammy after he hit the ground.

Keep playing him.
Can't put the bloke in cotton wool year after year
See if can string a number of games together.
Otherwise sell him to Johnston and Johnston
He has been put in more cotton wool than a cotton gin.

I'm sure there's a horse racing analogy where you don't run the prized horse in a 'shit' race- well you know what I mean.

Play the man.

Let him lead this young group of kids and maybe salvage something from this year...

This is a great question and both sides of the argument have merit
Personally I would play him. He hasn't played much football the past 2 seasons so getting continuity of playing week in week out I believe would be valuable
As long as he pulls up ok after yesterday
Any positive result for the club at AFL or VFL level is good
I would also play scharenberg to see how he stands up in big games
Let's try and salvage something from the season for the club

Look, if he goes down in the VFL, that'll give us an injury to operate on, at least.
