If Freo don't make the GF I reckon Ross Lyon is gettable. At least we know that guy can coach, and he gets the absolute most out of his players.

Reckon RoosToss is safe regardless of 2015.
As long as Fyfe, Pav, Mundy and Sandy are on the field, they are a chance.

The main thing I am pleased about is the fact we didn't get any serious injuries out of this game. Win or lose Meh!!! Would have been nice to win but you know what? I don't really care. I believe we are in a great place with the games we have been able to put in to our young guys.
Our team is better placed for next year.
Enjoy the break, put the hard yards in and be better in 2016.

I know it was a tough loss. Any close one is. Surprised to see people getting so upset about it though. You get unpredictable results in these type of games all the time (Dogs lost to Lions, Giants lost to Dees, Cats got smashed by us last week). I'd not have felt much better about our season had we managed to win today. It was a poor game but hardly pathetic (though the first half might have come close).

Yeah but Ross has shown form, walked away from the saints for a big money multi year deal. He could be lured again.

Agreed. No Swan, no Cloke, and then Grundy going off probably made the difference. Nothing hung on this for us, but quite a bit did for Essendon, who woudl have wanted to make a statement after a year from hell.
Enjoy the break and then get a good preseason into our many promising youngsters and load up again for next year. I'm holding onto the fact that when it was all to play for, we pushed the top teams bloody hard this year, which was better than last year. I might be overly optimistic, but I think that 2016 will see us contending hard.
