It's like what happens in large commercial law firms - generally, people don't get told to leave in direct terms, rather they just aren't given work. You don't have to sack someone to give them the message.

Kid has talent, no doubt. Had high hopes for him but sometimes, for whatever reason, these things don't work out.

Good luck to him, whichever way he goes.

I don't think he was our best but he was pretty good. I would've preferred him to come in over White last week, who's had plenty of chances to prove how useless he is. Something's up, surely.

Bloody bizarre! Truly stupid. I'm lost for words how White gets 20 more times to prove himself (every week we are scratching our head why this is the case - he's been woeful most games) and Karnezis is only given 3 senior games, 2 as a sub. A bloke who can read the game and kick well. And now we are letting him go. And a Collingwood aupporter to boot. I guess going from 1st to 12th in 4 years, we should expect very high standards...

This is it in a nutshell.

After he was dropped after 2 games as sub & 1 full game, he was told to work on his defensive pressure.

Fair enough he took it on board went back to vfl and lead the tackle count for several weeks. Also kicked goals and and 20+touches.

End of May has another meeting with bucks. Bucks tells him that he is way down the pecking order and has many others in front of him. Tells patty that his opportunities will be unlikely.

Patty then says to bucks that my tackle numbers are up and pressure acts, I did what you asked and still kicking goals, why aren't I getting a look in?

Bucks then says "it is what it is".

Patty kills it in vfl in June & july. Bucks then approaches patty early August and says that there might be an opportunity. Patty tells him to get £$%$ed and says that he won't play another game under bucks. Wants to play vfl and then leave at end of year.

Relationship was broken. they had a final discussion to clear the air. Bucks wanted to play him against tigers. Patty said what's the point I am not going to be here next year, but happy to be traveling emergency.

So basically bucks doesn't rate him & despite exceptional vfl form decided in May that he wasn't part of the clubs future. Very harsh considering his first year at pies was killed by injuries. And after a couple of games his fate was sold.

Bucks telling a player "it is what it is" half way through the year and writing him off is a disgrace. Forget how he acts in media , bucks has no people skills at all. Reason why so many left beams shaw Wellingham Dawes Thomas etc.

Patty didn't crack the sads at lions. They wanted him badly but he wanted to go home. Voss didn't play him knowing he was leaving. Which was poor by voss

Patty didn't crack the sads at pies until he did everything that was asked of him and then told "it is what it is".

His treatment has been nothing short of disgraceful. He will tear it up at another club next year. Hawks blues dogs tigers demons saints all shown interest. He is disillusioned by footy & might be walking away. But I think he will take up an offer at another club. And so he should.!
