1. Is kicking in danger still a rule?
2. I thought blocking opponents from contesting marks is a free kick?
3. Do whistles not work in the wet?
4. Is deliberate out of bounds only paid in dry conditions?

Swan held in front of ump. He complained. Nothing.
Grundy head ripped off and thrown to ground in ruck dusk on the wing right in front of ump. Nothing.
Witts free against hit standing his ground and taking strong mark.
Wits jumper pulled off his chest in goal square. Nothing.
Over it. So, so over it.

Other than the Witts decision and the deliberate out of bounds against Varcoe, thought they just let it run.

No problems with the umps.

I rarely complain about umpring. I accept there will always be the odd wrong decision but quite frankly that was deplorable. 15 free kicks for a game like that was scrappy.

Worst umpiring I can ever remember. Seriously.
Port just got away with everything for no penalty whatsoever.

I know we're speaking from a biased perspective but I reckon I could have counted 40 contests where our players were blatantly held... and the only one they paid was the f'ing one where Fas marked it anyway.

I know we contributed to this loss... but not like last week... sooooo frustrating.

Don't forget the one against White though Rolling Eyes

Seems our forwards can be held but if they win the contest its a free against them

Couple of doubtful ones, as per usual, but really, our forwards lost that match tonight, our lazy, woeful and wasteful forward line. sigh.

Avg frees per game is 35. 15 tonight in wet weather! Only 1 free in the last 38 minutes!
