I post on here often, sometimes I get into it and sometimes not. I have often read some posts that make me vomit, however their loss they are the victims of their own ignorance. Many of you guys are over sensitive and become defensive if you are pulled up and I just can't be bothered to get into a slagging match. I suppose that is the problem, by just allowing some of the guys to continue making so called jokes, I am just perpetuating the problem. It's just like the racism debate, you have no understanding how some comments actually make women feel. I really shouldn't have to justify my opinion or point of view to morons. However many guys have respect. idiots all come in all shapes and forms.
I have gone toe to toe with men when it comes to debating the game and apart from what goes on in the change rooms I have a great understanding of the game. What I actually do is listen and learn rather than sprout of at the dick. Ignorance is no excuse. |
Can you expand on the sort of comments and jokes that make you feel unwelcome? I think this is something we need to be more aware of.

In answer to Thomsoc's question, no I doubt feel in any way threatened or bothered by the posts on Nicks. In fact I think Nicks is far better that some of the other Collingwood sites.
I simply don't post if all I am doing is repeating what the people above me have just said. Love to read though, and rarely miss a day.
