Great article from The Roar. Ryan Buckland agrees (like many of us do) that Treloar and Aish are not going to address Collingwood's concerns.
He's thrown up Shoenmakers as a player we could recruit. That could work pretty well. It's clear that he won't get a regular game at Hawthorn.
It's a really great summary of where we're at as a club.

look, I was leaning towards opening the link, I swear, but "He's thrown up Shoenmakers as a player we could recruit" is just killing me. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

Schoenmaker is a dud.
But the rest of the article is on the money.

Actually not a bad read despite the Shoenmakers reference. |

Shoenmakers to replace Reid, Brown, Frost, Moore or Cloke?
Treloar & Aish will free up Swan and Sidebottom to spend more time in the forward line.
I agree that we do have a need for another tall but I'd be throwing everything at Lynch from Gold Coast, probably not this draft but definitely the next. |

Great article right on the money with our list development.
Hopefully we can maintain momentum as the list gets more experience under their belt.
Would love Dangerfield at the Pies. Who knows. We have gone quiet on this. Maybe lure Aish and then send him and Shazza to Crows for Danger.
I know we don't need to trade for him but it would get the deal done and not give the others a look in.
Go Pies. |

Would it only get the deal done if he actually wanted to come to the Pies? All the talk is that if he is leading sleepy South Australia then he'd be wanting to return to the sleepy old surf coast. I suppose we don't know if he is valuing location over team and $ etc. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

Look I was told that Danger was heading to Geelong 4 months ago and the information is still valid. Deal with this as you please. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Unless I'm mistaken you were told Danger was looking at property along the surf coast, you've assumed that means he's heading for Geelong. If I was on that sort of money I'd be buying a property every year, doesn't mean I'm moving. |

You are absolutely spot on and fair enough comment. I'm just sharing the information, not saying that it is 100% concrete evidence that he is moving to Geelong. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. There's more of a chance that Dangerfield will go to Port, more so than Pies. I can't see Collingwood realistically making him a serious offer. Even though that would be a perfect fit. |
