Very Happy We won't make finals at that rate! We need a better total!! Reasonable 1st half, and a great 2nd half!!

I think we can finally say that the party is over. So all these people calling for Buckley's head, or abusing those who call for his head or who just don't care, are going through Kubler-Ross's stages of grief - you know anger, denial, acceptance etc.

We went through the same thing in 1982, 1995, and 2005. The highs of 1990 and 2010 and the almost highs of 77 to 81 and 2002 are no more.

It's been 5 years guys. Time to take a good hard look, because it ain't going to get any easier.

Think we can improve markedly with:

Deals:

Adam Treloar/Curtly Hampton for Our first round pick and Witts

James Aish for 2nd round pick and Paul Seedsman & Jarod Blair

Matthew Kreuzer via restricted free agency pick

Stevie J via unrestricted free agency (1 year deal with 3 year Assistant coaching role thereafter). God knows our forward line needs help.

Tradeable options with "some currency"

Alex Fasolo
Jarod Blair
Jarod Witts
Ben Sinclair (4th rounder)
Alan Toovey
Paul Seedsman

Ps: Don't trade Oxley. He is 193cm, with skill and dash whose come good this year. KEEP HIM!!

Stevie J is finished. He's only got 1 more year at best at the Cats.
Witts and Grundy are clearly part of our future plans so neither will be traded.
Oxley was playing great football before hip problems took their toll. He'll be kept on and given an opportunity to cement a place in our team in 2016.
Realistically, I think only Seedsman, Fasolo, Kennedy and Scharenberg (assuming he wants out) are likely trades.

You reckon there would be any interest in PK or BenKen?

You forgot the best part!
He is a great kick, which unfortunately makes him trade bait at CFC.

Good effort, but giving Blair 3/10 is a joke. Has arguably been in our top 10 this year. Honestly don't know what games some of you are watching.

Blair has certainly earned his spot this season, which is perhaps why we are 12th on the ladder. Until Blair is squeezed out, it will mean we are not a top team. Just ask yourself, would Blair get a game at Hawthorn, Eagles, Sydney or Freo?
