Not sure if I've missed something, but what's with all the talk that he wants out?

PS, over my dead body.

And, subject to anyone having anything new to post about the issue, there is virtually the entire basis of the rumour - he doesn't look happy.

There was some suggestion when he was left out of the team a few weeks ago that he was less injured than he was unhappy but I don't think anything has ever been substantiated.

He re-signed for 3 three years, earlier this season.

If he goes, I go. No way in hell we're losing more 'exciting' players. May as well run out in the Beige & White stripes next season if that happens.

But that's the point, Raw Hammer - does he actually want out or is the noise just baseless rumour-mongering (bearing in mind that it isn't that long since he signed on for a long-term deal)?

The guy is getting over a back injury. In the majority of cases back injuries take a long time to fully recover and it would be reasonbale to think that he is playing in some pain.

That said he certainly is not showing very good form for the majority of this year. He set up 5 goals for Cloke in one game but has not done a great deal since.

Hi Defender,

There was some talk whilst he was off that he was off due to the fact he is a Gen Y (like me - so I can talk shit about us too) and didn't take too well to a Buckley telling off/Spray.

From there, it extended to he took some time off from the club due to this 'spray' to think about things and to get over it.

There was a link somebody posted from BigFooty (rolls eyes).

However, later on it turned into he was actually away from the club due to his back.

This, like always, was somebody who has connections to the club.

Though being a Gen Y and having delt with Gen Y through karate, I'm inclined to believe it's a little from column A and a little from column B.

Make of that what you will, but I have NFI.

He is consistently in our top 8 statistically which is outstanding for a 23yo small forward with a bad back.

I wouldn't blame if he wants out after Bucks sold him out on the couch last week.

Sold him out ???? What a crock. I watched that and Elliott was given as an example of someone with inconsistent form and symptomatic of where the club was at. Bucks responded to that. Never was he "sold out"'

.....but then never mind go back to your own warped view of the world Rolling Eyes

Hopefully any players with injuries get pulled out of the side now. I don't even care if we lose to the bombers, as long as these guys are cherry ripe come Feb next year.

Elliot just wants to be like Buckley…win a whole lotta individual accolades.

Wasn't Buckley that gave him a spray, it was Rocca.

Age reported last week that Seedsman is looking to leave too.
