Now that the scum are virtually certain too appoint Bolton, that leaves our beloved Sir Scotty free to choose again. Look, id hate to see him go there, but with his long coaching apprenticeship, excellent credentials, (sure as hell far more coaching exp than golden boy had) i reckon hed make a very good coach of the downtrodden wreckage that is the Dons. He would have to realise its a long haul though, could take five years to rebuild that catastrophic club, a terrible ageing list, lots of pain and hard gaiin

An aside: if I'd been a journo at Hird's press conference today I would've asked him if he intended to throw his hat in the ring for the Carlton job. |

Scotty surely isn't that stupid.
Half the senior list is presently out of contract and by this time next year most of the half that is contracted might be suspended as a result of the WADA proceeding. |
