And Zac O'Brien got the chop? I think he'll get picked up by another club. |

Yeah he did, I read that in another article I think it was the article that Rohan Bewick had re-signed with the club. It wasn't at all surprising with his attitude there, but I think a new club would sort him out. _________________ Ðavâgé

I remember a similar suggestion last year.
24 years old, knows how to kick a goal. A little suspect that he has only played the 3 games, but I guess getting into that Hawks best 22 along with a couple of nagging injuries havnt helped.
Interesting the Hawks have let him go now after Hale has retired. They must have him behind Ceglar aswell.
As far as Collingwood using him... a utility that rucks and kicks goals. (He is back to back leading VFL goal kicker). Would he be behind Jesse White? Does he have the pace and build that White has? Is his attack on the ball better than White? I'm guessing he's probably a better mark and kick that White, is he a better ruck?
He'd probably become a third string ruck after Grundy/Witts. I do like the look of him, but is he going to play AFL, or would he become another backup player we see a few cameos from for a year or two?
I'm just trying to find where he'd be in the pecking order with Cloke, Reid, Grundy, Witts, White. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Add Moore, Cox, Gault and Wyatt to those considerations and the fact we've got Still and Close on the VFL list and I think we need to be really astute about bringing in any additional KPF-ruck types. Have to be super confident they have senior 22 potential. |

Still and Close are both chances to be drafted/rookied so may not be on our VFL list. _________________ All We Can Be |

So you're suggesting we potentially grab Grimley for our VFL side as a possible replacement for Still and/or Close should they get picked up? |

Ryan Pendlebury has to be under serious consideration! Yes he seems like another half back flanker but for life beyond:
* Toovey (no longer best 22)
* Goldsack (body issues)
* Sinclair (can't kick dud hamstrings)
* Ramsay (dud shins, 50/50 kick and no left side)
* Macaffer (in the queue of Greenwood and Crisp)
Young Ryan is prolific, clean, efficient and a Pendlebury!!! Was in the VFL "team of the year" and has great poise. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Shame, we would have blitzed at Carlton or Dopers in 2016, given another year without injury. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

No. I don't think the fact Still and Close were on our 2015 VFL list has any impact on who we consider for our 2016 AFL primary or rookie list re KPF-types though. _________________ All We Can Be |
