In twelve months time our current average age and games average will be the same as the 2010 team. So we won't be able to use age and experience as an excuse not to make the finals.
However, what happens if we have a bad run with injury and miss the finals? You can't blame/sack the coach for that can you? |

Oh yes some can! They don’t need ANY encouragement at all to ask for Buck's sacking mate...
I honestly don't know if another coach can do any better at Collingwood than Bucks. I honestly don't know. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Either do I and that's the trouble when you have seasons derailed by a long injury list. It takes away your ability to evaluate your best 22. Therefore I think Bucks will keep his job if we have a bad run with injury next year and miss the finals. |

Fair comment. Too many intangibles than can de-rail a season. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

They've won 13 games for the year on the back of a 7 win season in 2014.
They just lost to a side with a second year coach who suddenly looks like the premiership favourite.
We've won 9 games for the year and lost 8 of our last 9.
We lost to Melbourne by 6 goals two weeks back who today lost to the bottom placed scum.
We've dissolved to become a rabble for the second year running. |
The Dogs had a pretty soft run in the last several weeks, running up to the Weagles game, most of their games at that pissy home of theirs, Etihad too. Had we, with an ounce of luck, and good umpiring, beaten the dawks, freo, and port, even the tiges in the first half of season, youd be singing a different tune, i bet you would. We have had one real bad belting, i dont call that a rabble, have the Giants also dissolved into a rabble now, got belted again, as young sides tend to do towards seasons end. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Sacking Bucks is a bit drastic, the more prevalent problem is Pendlebury as Captain. Good player =/= good leader. Hence why Daicos was never captain. |

You know what - I'd give him two more years. I believe that Buckley is going to set us up as a modern successful club in the mould of Hawthorn and Sydney (clubs that rarely dip out of the four). _________________ McRae for Governor-General! |
