No its shit when we lose, especially to $£$%^%%$ Melbourne and St Kilda!
As bad as Essendon have been today, they have played better than we did in round 1!
Fact remains we should be playing finals this year but form so far says we will continue the slide, every year Buckley has coached we have dropped further down the ladder and in his 5th season that trend is set to continue.
Beating Essendon doesn't change this, it just means we might get to 14th instead of 16th! |

I see, if we had lost today that would've been super significant, but because we've won we must ignore any positive signs.
It's far more important to maintain the anti-Buckley rage than it is to enjoy a very good result.
Me? I like to enjoy the wins. Then again, I'm a Collingwood supporter. |

There was only ever one possible positive to come out of this day for the coach and that was with a dominant victory.
We got that so well done Bucks the noose is loosened in the short term but the real tests are still to come and we need to build from here and improve markedly if he is to survive.
Today was a victory we all expected at the start of the year against a depleted Essendon.
