| Malthouse's comment wasn't quite as ill-judged as his decision to play the poor kid at CHF in a Grand Final. Seriously, what did he think was going to happen? |

I didn't say 'higher than us'.
Maybe we had 7 players or 11. Maybe the tigers had 10, or 12 or 6. Freo the same. Doesn't matter, what matters is how the club leadership handles it. ie if the whole or most of the leadership team of a club are in, that will be different to if there's a genuine split.

Nah, we all know the Dorks had 23 players with positive test results. The Tigers are simply an overrated team who peaked 2 years ago and haven't recruited well and have a very ordinary coach. Freo peaked last year, and they have too many old players who should have retired 2 years ago.
Our biggest problem is we lost our best player in round one, our captain has been playing injured all season, our main key forward has been in serious decline for 4 years, and we are far too reliant on young inexperienced and inconsistent players. We will come good, but whether it's in time to save Bucks I'm not sure. Hopefully our season proper, starts today. Go Pies! |

You don't lose skill overnight, the coach just got a multi year extension, so how do they go from top to bottom in the space of 1 pre season? |
Word on Bigfooty is there's a rift between Fyfe and the group, apparently there was a vote on who the captain would be, most voted for Mundy but the club appointed Fyfe anyway, not sure if the club doctored the count or simply over ruled the players.
