In my experience people with good things going on in their lives tend not to lose their shit every time their footy team has a loss. But if you tell me you're making sure all Nicksters are getting laid regularly, who am I to argue? |

Sydney are in ordinary form that beguiles there current ladder position.
They had no Franklin, subbed Laidler off with injury then lost Parker with Heeney and Rohan also sore on the bench.
We should have overrun them in the last quarter. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

let them get it out of the centre square EVERY time to goal a quick reply. F you Bucks. Use your brain FFS!!! |
you cannot play man on man and then have two back. we put the +1 behind the ball but that wasn't overly effective.
tell me again why you "support" this team when you ate always so negative towards it? _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

^^^ Well, Raw Hammer has a point in that our defensive mids have been unable to stop the centre breakaways by the opposition. I felt that the goal that cost us the game came from the centre clearance by Goodes, who I assume burst into the square from CHF or thereabouts to win the contest. I don't want to bang on about the greatness of Luke Ball but he would never have allowed that clearance - he would have been alert to the prospect and brought Goodes to ground as he reached the ball. The first job of the defensive mid is to control the opposition's "breaking space" - Ball was probably the best I have ever seen in a Collingwood jumper at doing that.
Ball's replacements are, so far, solid footballers. He was a great one. His time was up but he wasn't - and won't be - easily replaced. |

sshhhhh. don't mention those important facts.
It was an honourable, maybe even a brave loss. We're going place in 2016. |

The goal-kicking was hopeless (the game should have been over at three-quarter time - it was one of those "classic" matches where we were all over the opposition but they were still within easy distance) and, in the last quarter, the lack of Luke Ball as defensive mid absolutely killed us. |

We are soft. There I said it. It's too cushy at the Westpac centre. They have it too easy. They ain't scared of losing their spot. They need to be. Where are the balls out players, where is the Luke Ball to the rescue player? Who will put their hand up to get dirty and mess up their hair?
Marley, swan, Langdon, frost, the untouchable Pendles, Blair, Moore, Faz, I'm not talking about you. The rest, give me 50. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Jo, I've been saying that for years.
Pre-season training needs to be moved back to Victoria Park.
No air-con gym for the precious princesses there...
It was good enough for Shaw, Banks, Kelly, Brown and Millane etc.
And you'd like a nice swim after training?
Lucky you - it's only 50 metres down to the Yarra for a refreshing dip.
Or perhaps a spa for your hard work?
The 80s model one in the rooms is still there. So's the water.
Seriously, a few blokes need to be dragged out of their comfort zones.
Then they might appreciate the best facilities any football club in this country has at their disposal. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
