Interesting stat.

Warner has got over 50 in the second innings of each of the four Ashes Tests this series.

He has been below par but didn't realise that. Has been poor generally in the first innings when you needed someone to set up the match.

Well, there you go - batting carefully on the first morning of a Test in overcast English conditions is a better strategy than seeing if you can make 300 in the first 20 overs. Now, who'd have guessed that?
