When he gets 21 himself I wouldn't be call him a tagger.

We have scored 2 very good run with players and a clearance king for offloading Beams.

Caff will struggle to get back into the 22.

Caff, Blair, Toovey and Goldsack may all struggle next year.

These guys are my favorite players at the club for their heart and soul, but I fear you may be right.

Still, if we have a side that is good enough to keep all 4 of these guys out of the team, we will be in a very very good place.

Based on our current list, is our best 22, as follows:

Williams Brown Maynard
Scharenberg Frost Langdon
Varcoe DeGoey Sidey
Elliot Reid Swan
Fas Cloke Moore

Grundy Pendles Adams

Greenwood, Sinclair, Crisp, Broomhead

and isn't that team potentially a premiership team?

At the risk of seeming to be obsessed, I have to say that I do not see Scharenberg in our best 22. In fact, I've been sadly underwhelmed by his games so far, compared to the displays from Maynard, Marsh and Oxley.

Lets give Caff one more chance to play a game before we throw him on the bonfire, eh?

Greenwood was excellent last night, I finally saw what the hype was about, brings a touch of shinboner to a young team

He is now our official tagger!
Where does that leave the Caff?

I think Caff tagging was only a temporary move, born of an absence of class in the 2014 mid-field. There is some prospect that he could take a role as a medium forward next season. I say that because there are one or two possible two vacancies there (we both know who I mean) and because I was impressed by how cleanly he collected and used the ball in the VFL last week, especially given his long lay-off. He is a strong body and generally applies very good physical pressure at the contest and, after all, played most of his early football in the VFL and AFL as a half-forward. He now has a much better tank than he did when he played in the premiership team, so his ability to make repeat efforts at the ball is considerably improved. Consequently, although I also see some prospect that he'll become a "depth" player doing most of his work in the VFL, there is also a reasonable chance that he could improve the present side playing up forward.

Caff went into the midfield today and had an influence.

You think Faz is in our best 22? Maybe I'm a very bad judge, but Faz doesn't convince me. Trade. Although, I said the same about Sinkers this week and the club turned around and gave him a two year contract. Surprised

^ i haven't been able to watch the reply the past few weeks, but didn't Fas kick 5 vs someone (the Blooz?) and three last night ? I rckin he's becomng a damn servicable mid-size forward. Could have had 5 last night if he'd kicked straight, too.
