Found his place in the team over the last
2 weeks.
He is now our official tagger!

Was mighty last night and with him, Adams and Crisp in the guts smashing bodies, Grundy giving first use, DeGoey stepping through traffic, it was great to see. |

Yes it was very good to see.
Most impressed with Grundy's ruck work
as I thought it all started with him. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

I think Caff tagging was only a temporary move, born of an absence of class in the 2014 mid-field. There is some prospect that he could take a role as a medium forward next season. I say that because there are one or two possible two vacancies there (we both know who I mean) and because I was impressed by how cleanly he collected and used the ball in the VFL last week, especially given his long lay-off. He is a strong body and generally applies very good physical pressure at the contest and, after all, played most of his early football in the VFL and AFL as a half-forward. He now has a much better tank than he did when he played in the premiership team, so his ability to make repeat efforts at the ball is considerably improved. Consequently, although I also see some prospect that he'll become a "depth" player doing most of his work in the VFL, there is also a reasonable chance that he could improve the present side playing up forward. |

Clearly best game for the club last night for Greenwood, followed up from a decent game last week.
Good signs for next year. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

i hope the last two weeks answered your questions. he shut down Cotchin and Selwood and played a great game himself.
I love how tough our mids are becoming. adams and Greenwood are just hard at it and seem to relish the contract. De Goey is a strong body as is Crisp. Its coming together quite beautifully. Moore still needs a partner up forward that will be a 10 year gun, but otherwise, all of the pieces are there.
PS: I'd be quite stunned if Elliot's drop off in form isnt at least in part attributable to a leg injury of some kind. The guy played lame tonight.
Also, for the Cloke knockers who bagged him for his performance last week, i'm pretty sure he came back even though he wasnt ready.
The big question is that with Swan and Sinclair certain to be dropped, is there any chance that Kennedy gets a run in week 23? _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Still not sure having 2 Luke Ball types (Adams and Greenwood) is the right balance for the team but it's not a bad problem to have if they both continue to play well. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Yes I was surprised at how good Caff has come back.
Really impressed with his clean hands in the VFL.
He could play that tall forward flank role in the AFL. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Greenwood won me over last night. His physicality and smarts allowed others like Crisp to play more outside and the result was terrific. |

When he gets 21 himself I wouldn't be call him a tagger.
We have scored 2 very good run with players and a clearance king for offloading Beams.
Caff will struggle to get back into the 22. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Caff, Blair, Toovey and Goldsack may all struggle next year. |

I'm sold on Greenwood. Given the injury interruption he's had Levi fits in like a comfy pair of jeans. He's done wonderfully well. He's hard at it & knows what to do. Two very good performances in a row. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Adams is definitely a less polished Luke Ball. Well after Ball had injuries and lost some pace.
Greenwood's not playing the Luke Ball role at all at the moment though. He's barely had a clearance at Collingwood (2 last night could be his high). Because while he is tough inside, his tank is probably his best attribute. He's playing as a runner not an inside specialist and has shown much better ball use than Adams. _________________ Well done boys! |

Adams will become a bigger accumulator than Ball. |

It was one of the many enjoyable things about last night.
I loved the passage of play where Selwood was having a sook and Levi just pushed him with a smile.
Big imposing presence reminded me a big of Leigh Brown. _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club
