Improving and having more impact each game. Can't ask for more than that at this stage. |

When we announced we were getting him I wondered why we needed another Luke Ball replacement when we already had Adams pegged for that role. I think his performances, thus far, have been fine but I still don't know whether we need 2 players of that sort. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Hard work coming back from this injury will be important for us as he gets fitter. Its a bonus he is on the Noah's Ark! _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Well, if we are lucky. He's only ever had one top year in his whole career (2014 at Norf); every other season he's been below-par because of injuries.
Keep him in the side, he's doing OK. There are worse players in our 22, and Greenwood will regain touch as he goes along, you'd reckon. |
Agree. The skills will improve as his fitness improves. The skills tend to fall away with fatigue. |
Yep, by example, Jack Steven missed most of last year with ankle surgery and came back around the same time as Levi. When Steven does come back, he is just rubbish for the remainder of the 2014 season.
Same player then completes a full preseason this time around and has been very good again. Its an incredibly hard injury to come back from with the expectation of walking back in and not missing a beat. He will be fine. |

What, you mean players who have a serious leg injury that prevents them running for weeks or more can't just come straight back in to the team and run 15km flat-out in game conditions the moment they are available? Are they soft or something? |

Varcoe didn't look part of the team till he had played around 6 games. From memory Ball and Jolly were the same. We should be patient with Greenwood. _________________ Magpies love pies(Lol) |

Let him settle
Took Ball some time and he didn't have the injury to start off with that Levi has had.
New team, new game style and underdone fitness wise.
He'll be ok _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

Hasn't set the world on fire but I never expected him too.
He gives us a big body hard nut to help out around contests and provide a bit protection for Swan/Pendles/Crisp/Sidey.
Give him time he isn't fit yet by March standards he will improve.
At the moment he's in our best 22 because he played last week. |

Wasn't impressed at all when I saw him at VFL level but I'm liking what he brings, he's an in and under battering ram. Not a lot of finesse but a lot of grunt and a mature strong body. Tay has more speed, more finesse, as much desire but doesn't have the mature body.
We don't just need 3 starting midfielders, we need several so they can be rotated.
He also has some mongrel in him, like Tay. Don't take no sh1t. We need players with that trait to beat the best. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Adams has more finesse wasn't aware he had any, or pace for that matter . I'd rate Greenwood as both quicker and a better user, haven't seen a major mistake from him yet. And he's not been playing as a battering ram just yet. Very few clearances (1 on the weekend) and more uncontested ball than contested (14-6 against the Blues). _________________ Well done boys! |

Let's see how he goes next season after a full pre-season under his belt. His strength, nous and experience are valuable assets, but I'm still not convinced there'll be a regular spot for him in our midfield, given his lack of pace and polish, especially if we recruit Treloar and Aish. I just think if we are going to match it with the top teams we have to raise the bar as to what we expect from our midfielders. We need Pendles and Swanny to be surrounded by other A grade mids. |

So far I don't see what extra he brings to the table!
Slow, hard nut with moderate kicking and handball skills.
450000 per year.
Injury hasn't helped.
So far unimpressed.
But then again he only had one good year at Norf.
Maybe he only blooms every 7 years! _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Two wilder beasts pushing through the packs to force the ball out to a Collingwood player for a goal was sound to my ears.
