From what I can tell its that every one pushes up the ground, to outnumber their opponents, which in turn causes a turnover to Collingwood and a shot on goal.

Our twist is to either **** up a simple disposal which in turn leads to the opposition having only the goal umpire to worry about as the stream down the ground by themselves (this was first perfected in the final when Jetta burnt the Pies - 4 years on nothing's changed) OR to become mental jellyfish and evolve in to the Italian Army at the end of WW2 - the charge comes on and they fold and collapse.

Exactly Big Dan

You can add Phase 3:
* wait until you have them on the ropes with your no strategy, superior effort and skills list, then completely choke because you have no killer instinct to win.

Our game style is different to all other teams. We are the only team that will not play on from a mark or a free kick. I feel sorry for the forwards. By the time the ball arrives there are 22 oppo players in our fifty. This game style must end. It is useless.

All part of the masterplan for the soon to be revised 2034 window.

This is not a trick question.

Anyone who has a clear conception of how the game is played, please let me know.

As far as I can see, we have no kick in plan, no understanding of body to body, terrible foot and handball skills, very poor decision making and no play on capability.

I don't want to sound negative as I can see plenty of improvement in the younger boys, but when I see premiership players make the same mistakes week in and week out, then I am disheartened.

I want to hear from you.

'Does anyone even know what the game plan is?'

I see that question asked week after week on any, and every, club board whenever there's a loss. It's the common lament of the venting supporter.

Does anyone actually believe that it's even remotely possible for an AFL club not to have a clear game plan?

I mean come on.

Did we have a game plan against Hawthorn? Or Sydney? Or Fremantle?

Did Richmond have a game plan two weeks ago? Did Hawthorn last night?

Of course they did. On any given day can the players execute it? That's the only question. We have a young team who can't make the finals after a long disappointing season. Today they just couldn't get anything to work and the game got away from them.

That's going to happen from time to time. Face it, and stop panicking.

Whatever it is it would seem inferior to what Beveridge in one season has put together.

Hinkley just beat the hawks for the second time this season in a "down" year for him.

Honestly the two coaches above show Bucks is out of excuses.

This weeks game plan.
1. Clog the forward line.
2. Don't take a contested mark in the forward line.
3. If you do happen to get the ball inside our 50 m arc ..kick a point!
4. Push up all defenders to create the fish net
( the fish net is the press with holes in it )
5. Turn over the ball in forward 50 and sit back and watch the sling shot.
6. If you win a contested ball in a pack ... handball backwards
7. With a mark or free kick the ball backwards.
8. Don't run and carry that is so yesterday!
9. Under no circumstances should you kick better that the Aus kickers!
10. Remember with 3 giants in the forward line hit up the hobbit!

Yes it is sad but it has been happening for weeks.
Try something different for a change!

I go to every Victorian game and after today's effort I would have to admit that I have no bloody idea what our game plan is and if we have a game plan of any substance

Sadly I'm starting to wonder if the notion of us trying to grasp what our game plan is has more to do with inherent problems within it rather than our lack of ability to understand the nuances of it.

Honestly today you could be forgiven we were making it up on the run it was so haphazard and the weakness of previous years like continually bombing the ball inside the forward 50 instead of being able to hit up free targets, having to many players drawn to the ball leaving opponents free or getting caught out on the fast break once our zone is broken.

Oh and don't get me started on our inability to use handball as a positive to start a chain of overlapping run and spread.

We continually handball backwards, to players under more pressure or these dicky 2 metre handballs that swell the stat sheets but provide little to enhance our ability to open up the opposition.

Simply we tend to often have to many numbers around a contest and not enough out riders to getting the ball moving quickly on the counter attack.

Our game plan resolves around pressure, creating turnovers and contested possession as much as anything and it's a taxing game plan and for the second year running is breaking down because of tired legs and minds and/or opposition tactics to expose any improvements that had been made.
