Start him forward with license to lead at the ball and damage the opposition ball carrier.

19 out of 20 against a top VFL team eh? Seems like his disposal is on the up!

Worth a shot at this stage of the season, the team badly lacks x-factor at the moment

I love it when the forum demands a selection en masse, anyone remember how young Blight was the second coming of Daicos? He was delisted at seasons end, how about that guy last year who's playing for Nobel park now? How about Ben Kennedy?

I have been impressed with Jono Marsh all season and am surprised he has not yet debuted in the AFL team, but this week is surely the time to do it.

He reminds me a bit of Mark McClure, Carlton's champion of the late 70's and he started his career on a back flank before becoming one of the games better CHF's. Jono Marsh could turn out to be the missing link from our Forward line although I don't expect him to be played there this year.

imo he should be started in the back pocket on Saturday against the Scum and given every opportunity to provide the sort of drive he has done so well all year in the VFL, albeit a huge step up to AFL level. He has the physical attributes to make a go of it. Lets hope he is a great success!! Go Pies!

McClure commentates on ABC radio on a Saturday, he is a crack up when Carlton get flogged!

Wouldn't it depend on Goldys availability ?
Can't see Marsh coming in if Goldy comes back unless maybe Maynard is sent back to the twos for an easier time of it.
Not advocating Maybard be dropped but it may need to happen if Marsh is to debut and Goldy does return.
Wouldn't have thought Sinclair is far away since we have been chopped up by small forwards in last month.
Least we have options !

Wouldn't it be ironic if both Marsh brothers got selected for Australia in the 4th Ashes test, and our Marsh got selected for debut the same day?

Yep I was trying to be more formal about it! Clearly our best player never to play a game - been on the list for years now
