He kicked 13-1 gave off a couple to Morwood and Matthews put him on the bench in the last term for around 10 minutes when I thought he could have kicked 20
He was simply ridiculous he really had it on a string
I remember him being in the pocket 2 bears players trying to corner him so he holds the pill out in 1 hand like offering it to the bear player pulls it back steps outside him towards the boundary line spins back in board around the second bear and then kicks it from 20 out on a tight angle then just looks back at 2 bears players laying prone on the ground
Glorious simply glorious |
THAT was the day, Daicos apologized to the Bears full back, he felt sorry for him. |
Sure was to Mark Zanotti
I remember Walls had during the week said Zanoitti was the man to keep Daicos in check !! |

The game today was just weird.
8 goals from the goal square by Port with no pressure, probably a world record. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

What a conk did Gastev have!
And when it smashed it was a horrible sight to see with blood everywhere on his face.

Best 20 cents spent at the footy ever.
I always wondered what he used to yell out, sounded to me like "here are peanuts" or "getcha peanuts"
The other thing I remember was when the club or cheersquad were raising funds and 4 people would carry a outstretched blanket around the boundry and people would piff coins from the outer to land in the blanket while a few would pick up the coins that missed. Dangerous stuff. |
