Buckley actually said the team will reach maturity in 2017-18 but that they're still aiming for finals this year.

It was Michael "Mr Bitter and Twisted" Malthouse who suggested 2018 and beyond.

Line in the sand. We must win. No friggin excuses. Blaming youth or injuries is just bullsh*t.

Grundy can do all the ruckwork with a little help from White, who's main job will be to drag a strong defender away from our forward line.

Ins: Marsh, Reid, White, Sinclair

Outs: Witts, Seedsman, Dwyer, Maynard (rested)

Reid, Marsh and Karnezis just have to come in, have to, no excuses if either of the 3 are left out.

Marsh and Patty have earned a game through repeated top performances at VFL level, while some have just walked into the seniors on less then stellar efforts even at that level (Yes Seeds, that includes you).

Reid is as ready as he is as ever going to be, and I'd much rather him playing a soft Carlton first up then the more physical Swans.

Plus it gets him to the 100 games target, so any sons of his are ours. Laughing

Maybe a fit and reliable netballer or Matildas soccer player might do the trick.

I like your thinking, pairing our players with elite athletes, a breeding program as such. Very Happy

Yep would have won us the game on Saturday I reckon,

A 19 year old and a bunch of midgets is not a forward line.

Anybody who wants to see Sinclair back is bongass. Gets rid of the ball so quick with a handball to someone in a worst position. He is panic merchant and only breaks open the pack when a he has a grand canyon open up in front of him.
2015 games 2 goals zip average disposals 9.5 average mark 1.5 Fantasy points 37 and 54 2014. Tackling machine? 2-3 and hardly significent because he should have more seeing he gets the ball so little. Reid PK and Marsh in and definitely Toovs out as he only ever seems to be chasing the opposition player that has the ball. Past his best.

The ghost of ol Malthouse may stalk the ground, and scare the hell outa the bluebellies, sending shivers of fear thru them, as we then pile on the goals and send them forther into oblivion.
