53 is also our lowest ever score batting first... a long way to get to that.

I'm with you. Another 10 runs won't help but get England in for 15 minutes before lunch and you might knock over a couple then they have to restart after the break.

Australian bastmen should donate their match fee to charity.

Ok, so most had some sort of technical problem playing the moving ball.
What are most of these guys doing with their front foot? Straight down the wicket instead of at the pitch of the ball. Can't believe what I'm watching at that level.
But none apart from the captain was doing anything reckless. There is a chance to redeem it for most.

Ball swinging and seaming on a deck with a bit of juice in it, England has some soft targets throughout their order, long way to go in this match!

We'd have to be batting again today to be any sort of a chance though. Over to you Starc, Hazlewood, Johnson.
Makin' 'em play is the key.
Don't waste the new ball. Bowl full at the imaginary 4th peg and let natural variation due to the conditions do the rest.

Hazelwood is going to be huge now. He is the key for me the pitch will suit him. He just needs to bowl to hit the top of off, in the channel as they say.

18.3 overs is also the second shortest innings we have ever played.
