Went to the game today for the first time in a long time. What was served up, by both sides, was an abomination. I wont be back.

What have they done to the game I loved? Sad

And believe me this has nothing to do with the fact we lost.

What about the game day experience? I haven't been for a while but I'm not hearing good things.

I agree but there is nothing else.

Agree

The passion is gone

Not sure how, ahem, "the game" can get it back (ie - the AFL)

They'll roll out some nonsense about being the year of the fan in 2016, then serve us more dross

But the fact we're totally Milned probably doesn't help

That is funny.
I remembered a game last year when most people standing next to me were on their mobile devices.
What does that say about the game?

At Times it is like watching Paint Dry.

Teams now just try and stop other teams Kicking Goals but Forgetting to kick there own goal to win the game

I left home from Yarrawonga at 10am, watched that debacle, never got excited once and then drove home for another 3.5 hours. Hard to get excited with 7 goals as part of a sixth loss against a crap team who hadn't beaten us for 8 years. I wish I could adjust my clocks and get my Saturday back. Still I have hope for our developing team (for next year now).

I reckon the game is changing and is becoming less exciting. Too many rules, too much officiating, afl has favourites, etc etc
But at the end of the day if we were playing and dominating like we were in 2010 and 2011 then we'd all be going week in week out.

Watching players gather the ball from half back and stream forward only to stop, prop, and retract because there is no teammate inside 50 IS NOT FOOTBALL as far as I'm concerned. It is GARBAGE. The game is an abomination. It is NOTHING like what I used to watch, and play. It is BORING!!! Unless the top couple of teams are playing, look away, cos it's just DROSS! Even if we were winning, whatever, but it's BORING. Couple that with the fact that outside of Elliott we have no spark of fun time players, and the CFC is not money well spent in 2015 and beyond. Kids, if you ever get a chance to watch 1990s football, DO IT. It is great! There are actual one on one contests and forwards inside 50!

Agree - That Shits me the Most.

Defender come forward but there is no one in the Forward Line Evil or Very Mad

How are you suppose to score with no Forwards - It Shits me to tears
