|
Boo has had a long and colourful history.
First recorded in ancient Greek times it was encouraged
to include audience participation and to keep the actors on their toes. It spread to Rome with the thumbs up to thumbs down and although there has been excesses with the throwing of objects such as rotten fruit it was never intended to physically hurt the performers.
And now it has been deemed offensive and should be killed, cremated and buried.
Boo was around for 2500 years so he has had his day. So fu..k off Boo.
Now what is next...

I'm personally happy to see the Boo dead and buried, except for situation specific scenarios when someone does something on field that deserves it.
Booing someone "just because" every time they get near the ball is lame and always has been.

My girlfriends brother is called Boo. What I am to do? Don't want to languish in the bangkok Hilton. He is 35 and never answered to anyone else. And what if there was me and you and a dog named Boo.

Booing is banned. So from now on just laugh when he gets the ball. Next they will ban laughing.
