Brian Taylor talking on 7 tonight saying he has knowledge that it is highly likely that Carlisle will leave the Peptides at years end. With Reid's on going injury concerns, Carlisle could be that swingman, KPP we could do with? The on going drug saga with possible suspension is a concern tho.

All the talk is that Carlton are into him.

Essendon are known to be difficult to trade with also.

Ricky Olarenshaw didn't work.
Blake Caracella was much better.
Who knows, third time lucky?

All serviceable players, par Pukovic, who I endorsed getting to our club, only to find him as retarded as MM did.
Peter Bradbury was going great until he did his knee in rnd.22 1987, against Essendon. I still remember him being chair-lifted off the MCG by two trainers.
He retired later in 1988, only to see his #18 jumper go to uber-spaz Elshaug, another two-club hack reject, who got the arse soon after...

But I digress; stick Jake up your clacker.
He can go to Carlton, where all the careers go to die...

Bomber Thomson has pretty much indicated on afl360 that Carlisle lack character. He has plenty of ability, but lacks character.

Not sure that's what we want. KPF must lead the way. I honestly think Carlisle is a similar type to Jesse. Has ability but can't quite get it shown consistently on field for what ever reason.

Could leading teams help build that character perhaps? I'm not desperate for him by any means, just speculating on it.

On a similar topic, how about Goddard giving Ryder a spray tonight for changing clubs. Who does Goddard think he is? He also called Jack Ziebell a weak c..t He's a strange unit is BJ.

Carlisle's not a bad player but I think he's a bit of a head case.

I know Carlisle was a massive Bulldogs supporter before Essendon drafted him but all the talk recently is that Carlton are the frontrunners in obtaining him at the end of the year.

He's a good player but I think he's suited as a defender rather than as a forward but he's definitely worth a look at a reasonable price.

The same bomber Thompson that was at the peptides at the eight of what ever it takes? Yep he knows a lot about character

A poster on BF with a reliable source has been saying the club has been in to Carlisle for a while. Whether or not he is willing to come to us is another story.
