Funny that. I have the same experience but with different crowds.
To be fair though, everyone I've spoken to on the subject is not Appalachian & have opposable thumbs |

No, I thought I'd give the libertarians a miss. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

The point however is that obviously there are different views on this. So to comment about the royal "we" as was done is obviously a sweeping generalisation despite who agrees with whom.
We are a family at Nicks albeit a dysfunctional one. A broad church - no that won't do, a broad mosque, no that won't do, a broad synagogue, no that won't do, a broad house of prayer that might do, a broad place with many subjective opinions
To be clear, there are however two views on this subject.
Mine & wrong ones.
(My older brother (a teacher) does use that line with his yr 7 kids ) _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Cry me a river, many, many top players get booed when lining up for goal, just ask cloke, hodge, buddy, roughhead, hawkins etc etc, nothing to see here. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Booing an opposition player while he lines up for a goal is perfectly normal.
Imagine the uproar if our supporters made up a cardboard cutout of Goodes having a sook like this:

I'm all for our players showing support but letting his team win was a bit generous! _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

I hope Eddie took humour from that.

have you noticed that at any SCG game, after a Sydney goal the cameraman ALWAYS goes to the same overweight, four-eyed, buck-toothed nerd. the guy must be around 50 but behaves like a child.
I want to smash my fist through the screen when i see his ugly mug

And his mate Tippex; the great COLA kids.
Tippex totally clueless, unless he's playing from the goal square. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
