2 weeks, 2 "gallant" losses.

"Oh we played so well etc, etc. We are a young team...."

Loser Richmond like talk. We should have won both games.

nothing gallant about the losses. nothing honourable. forget the rubbish that "we are a young team" as much a truism that it is. if anything, that should frighten the bejeezus out of the competition.

we should all be excited for what lies in store for us. we're not far off.

Richmond have not been anywhere near a flag since the 80's, please don't compare them to us.

We are a young side with plenty of potential, however we still have a large portion of the season to play before claiming anything.

We have taken one step back - but are looking at 2 steps forward…

Tigers usually take one step back then one step fwd then one step back etc leading overall to going nowhere! So we are not like them.

The Pies are going somewhere De Goey, Crisp, Broomhead, Sidey, Langdon - these are young kids with plenty of upside who are doing well against the best in the comp.

Don't understand the comparison.

Richmond usually get a few big scalps during the season but then either finish 9th or spectacularly fail in finals.

Our kicking efficiency has improved against the middle of the road and weaker teams. Once it can hold up against quality opposition (which it didn't last night) we'll be a genuine contender.

Call it what ever talk you want, if you want to sook about it. I've seen 2 very winnable, frustrating losses in succession but couldn't be more proud or excited about this club's standing and direction from the President down to the bootstudder. These are exciting times my friend, if you can't see that, I feel very sorry for you.

Even though Cyril kicked five they had more inside 50s than us but we had more scoring shots. That suggests to me that our backline did a good job.

*Although I'm not sure how many rushed behinds there were for both teams.
