Dave I stood at the race and watched every player come out. I didn't see him. I didn't see him go back in either. There's a chance I could have missed him, anyone else there see him cos I didn't. |

Okay in the Ruck but does not offer a Heap around the Ground.

If Marley is out then Shazza debuts. Wouldn't be surprised with a late change Grundy for Witts |

A little surprised that no changes have been made but if the reports about Marley not training is correct then Scharenberg may indeed be his replacement off half-back.
I was expecting Grundy to replace Moore but obviously the club saw enough from Darcy last week that he's worth persisting with him. To be fair while I was calling for him to be dropped he did provide a contest in the forward line and in the process freed up Cloke and White who failed to take the most of their opportunities last week.
I'm feeling nervous about this game as recent form suggests we should run out comfortable winners but Port's close and recent connection to Phil Walsh and the fact that their season could be dead and buried if they lose makes this a tough game in my opinion especially in front of their home supporters. We seemed intimidated last year when we played Adelaide at Adelaide Oval last year so we need to make a stand early and silence the home crowd.

rather amazing.
Grundy was ready last week but we went for Moore.
I thought Marsh should have got a game before Maynard.
I was surprised Blair was the Sub last week as I thought a fast hard running
player would have been the Sub.
If Blair is starting this week it should be on the ground and not on the bench. |
If Moore and Maynard had done enough to get into the senior team last week I guess you have to give them more than one game to find their feet. |
No you don't. |
Looks like we do in this case. |
We have, but we didn't have to and Moore hardly did enough to earn a debut game over others who's form had been consistently better for longer, let alone enough to retain his spot. Would have been easy to justify dropping him. |

Clearly must be that we judged Grundy to be not quite ready. If this is the case, then Moore staying in is AOK. He will have a less physical oppositon this time, and will drag defenders away from Cloke and White. So in fact, Moore's inclusion against PA is in fact a stronger card I believe than against Hawthorn. Just wondering about Sinclair...why is he in no calculations at all? |

You make 2 great points about Playing Moore.
Power are not as Good as the Hawks are and a Moore showed vs Hawks that Him being there gives Cloke more 1v1 Contests.
Sinclair missed about 10 Weeks so he needs a week or 2 more to get Match Fit _________________ I am Da Man |
