I concede I am frustrsated with his kicking for goal under duress, but he was alright overall tonihgt. Watch closely some of his ruckwork which was actually quite good. He gave Wittsy a rest and was ore than ok. Hie kicked 2, and if at the start of the year we said he would average around that every game I think over 90% of fans would take that. _________________ kymbo |

True. I'm not a hater. But we need finishers to win these close encounters. We need them ( the forwards) to kick the easy ones.
Othwrwsie the speculation and angst. Won't stop. _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds

Yep, he has stepped up the last few weeks and is looking quite good in the ruck.
He is in very little danger of getting dropped, we have no one else on the list to replace him.
Yes the misses are bad, but the forwards are not alone, Crisp missed a sitter, Pendlebury has sprayed them from straight in front this year, Swanny is pretty unreliable in front of goal and as good as DeGoey looks, don't have much faith with him either! At the end of day, anyone can have an off night, but people focus on the same people. White and Cloke didn't kick 19 behinds between them
The games we win are when Fasolo or Elliott pop up and kick a bag as well, that takes the pressure off, but they are MIA atm. |

Jesse's actually having quite a good season for his standards and deserves to retain his spot in the side.
He's playing far better football this year than he was last year but his kicking in front of goal in crucial stages of matches is still a real killer though. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

If he can start playing the Leigh Brown role he's there for rather than the Chris Dawes 2nd forward role, he'll do alright. |

Power forwards with 100 games of experience should really slot goals like the ones he missed 9/10. Ive got about 60% confidence in him 40m out on a slight angle, which isn't really good enough.
I dont think I would mind him missing if it weren't for his body language when he can't quite make a ball.. and gives up the empty contest. He just isn't 'Collingwood'.
Can't expect too much of Moore this early, but hope for a time when it's an easy decision to sub White. _________________ ------------

Jane turned up last night when the crunch came in front of goal. In saying that I thought his around the ground work was great. The whole teams kicking at stages was woeful and against a class team like Hawthorn they make you pay and with Rioli the finisher last night we paid big time. |

i spent the first half following white around the ground. i thought he did what he normally does ... tries to take a backman out of the forward line, presented as an option up the ground, he created contests when he couldn't mark and he did kick a couple of good goals. the one thing that wasn't great was allowing the goal from the mark just outside the 50. he allowed the hawks player to mark and run on.
it's funny how cloke and white can slot them from an angle but the ones in front, well. i guess there is less expectation on them when taking those boundary line shots. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

I have said it before and I will say it again.
He cannot play the Leigh Brown role!
Leave him forward and he will do ok.
Put him in the ruck and his forward work suffer
and he is lost when playing in the ruck. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

We played as a team and we lost as a team. Our errors were crucial and one individual beat us last night and Cyril is an absolute champ. |
