Grundy being out has forced Dim to step up. Witts has played a tad over 30 games and Sandilands has played over 200 and at times Sandilands experience beat Witts. Witts game last night was very serviceable and encouraging.

Yep, couldn't really expect more from him than an honest contest and he delivered that. Got more involved around the ground as well.

Does anybody beat Sandilands at stoppages or clearances over four quarters ??
Witts was as good as can be expected but more importantly, he will continue to improve along with the rest of the team.

Yes. When Witts, Grundy and Reid are all available I don't see how White gets a game.

Witts was up against an old campaigner last night, ol sandilands, and sandilands aint gonna be around much longer. Witts hasnt even reached his potentiial yet, nowhere near it, he will be our version of sandilands, in two seasons time. Witts did well last night, we lost the game only when he was rested out of the ruck, and the ol bloke took over against jesse.

Thought Witts had a real good game last night, backing up from a great performance against Mummy. Think his tank has improved as has his kicking. For someone who has played under 50 games, he is well on course to be a permanent fixture along with Grundy.

He is learning the game, is starting to read the ball as well as impose himself physically. He is a future pot of gold. Very happy with him taking ownership and his devgelopment.
