$1000 fine for being head butted by the "protected species" and "gush fest" player Rioli!

I'm just grateful he got off without suspension. We need Varcoe for our run to the finals.

Of course, if it was Jamie Elliot ducking his head and Rioli tackling, Rioli would have received the free for having his legs taken...

No he wasn't. It was investigated but MRP review determined that no further action would be taken.

Oops, sorry. I misread it when I read a headline about Maric getting one week.

What a joke of a system. Squibs would be spitting chips. They make the rules up as they go.

Are you kidding??
I should have realised that would happen, after all Port is playing the Pies this week.

So much favouritism in the Afl. Sydney, Rioli ..

Good result in the end, although Varco can probably feel a little gypped, he's being charged $1000 for the shortest blowjob in history.

Good.

That he didn't get suspended. Not good that he was fined.

Lucky, under the old system he would have been facing 4-6 weeks on the sideline

Just looking at the sanctions, how the **** did Cotchin get away with a fine?

I'm sorry but this new system is the worst ever, $1000 fines now for belting players is a joke, what's the point of having a MRP or tribunal? Just let them do whatever they want

$1000 fine for Varcoe well that's cool ate least he wasn't suspended.
Can't believe they actually wasted time looking at the Elliott/Mitchell "incident" please the Hawks do that 25 times a night without being questioned
As for Schultz he was going to get 2 weeks until, they looked at the draw and said hang on there playing the pies port will need him to be any hope all clear here.
The MRP is a complete joke the coaches players commentators and so called former player experts can't understand it.

Thank god he avoided suspension as I was pretty concerned that he would be suspended for something so trivial in reality.
