If someone's not sure of the facts, perhaps it's better to hedge their bets than 'go bang', don't you think? (Though being a loudmouth airhead does seem to be a vote-winner, I'll give him that much.)

I'll do a straw poll of cab drivers, barmen and strippers while I'm in the US and report back. Razz Wink

Not looking like a wise bet Laughing

A broader analysis tells a very different story:

Yep, this bloke's analysis has been spot on. He's predicted just about every republican candidate was going to win at some stage and hedges his bets or fence sits every chance he gets.

The poll that Trump is leading in includes the option to stay home and not vote, something that about 50% of voters habitually do. Hillary Clinton doesn't excite democrats, Trump gets people out to vote which is a YUGE part of winning an election over there.

I'm still predicting a Trump presidency and haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise. Clinton always hold early poll leads; until people have to listen to her talk for any length of time. She's struggling to put away Bernie Sanders ffs.

Seems a few Republicans would vote for Clinton, cant find a Democrat who would vote Trump. The only way Trump can win is if Sanders runs as an independent.

^
I really meant actual serving Democrat senators that would vote Trump, I can only find Jim Webb and hes no longer a serving senator and only a maybe at best.

^^^ Your loss is everybody else's gain - the Republican candidate now can't possibly win (or, if he does, we can expect serious nuclear war, so it probably won't matter).

Why would there be a nuclear war? He's already set out his foreign policy as being decidedly non-interventionist and has been a lot less belligerent towards Putin than anyone else.

I reckon Trump will find it extremely difficult to win the Presidency for the following reasons:

1. Most women who vote will vote for Clinton.

2. Most Hispanics who vote will vote for Clinton.

3. Most African Americans who vote will vote for Clinton.

4. Most low income people who vote will vote for Obamacare to continue, i.e. vote for Clinton.

5. Most of the other migrants generally and historically favour the Democrats for whatever reason but this might be only a slight advantage to Clinton, not a big one.

6. SOME of the Republicans who hate Trump either wont vote or in a very few cases, maybe vote for Clinton but I take this with a huge grain of salt. It's like asking a Collingwood fan to hope that the filthy Scum win this week just because they want Buckley sacked. VERY rare event. Highly unlikely.

So that’s my take on it. If I'm totally wrong, I'd be the first to congratulate Trump and accept the inevitable and justified flames on Nick’s……. Rolling Eyes Cool
