Do you know the smallest threat to Trump is Biden who defeats him soundly in many polls and would be a nightmare for him to face?

Republicans dump NBC from future debate due to partisan (and incompetent) moderators.

I tried to watch some of this debate, and it was just cringeworthy compared to the Fox and I think it was CNN ones. The RNC have done the right thing in dumping a network that went out to get 'gotchas' against every candidate rather than facilitate an issues based debate. Got so bad that some of the best moments are candidates slamming the media and the CNBC team.

What a bunch of lightweights. Whoever is nominated will have to answer questions from all major news channels. I don't understand this inability of American political figures to handle moderately tough questioning from journalists (who can forget Donald Trump cracking a sook because Megyn Kelly wasn't nicer to him?).

Imagine if they had to deal with an actual grilling from a half-decent journalist like Laurie Oakes or Sarah Ferguson! They'd be calling for their blanket and dummy within five minutes.

Fair? It's a hit piece and was called out as such. Harwood has been criticized from all over the place. Read the comments.

Sorry, but if you get up on stage saying you're going to build a 1500 kilometre wall, you should expect to be asked by journalists whether you're taking the piss. It's a major indictment on the American media that Trump doesn't cop questions like this every single time he appears on TV.

(By the way, thanks for the offer, but I've read Breitbart comments before, and I'd prefer not to receive any further self-inflicted head injuries.)

Youtube comments, so not really any better but my point was there has been pretty widespread criticism of these moderators and their questions. CNBC screwed the pooch considering the CNN debate had amazing ratings and people really got something out of it. This one was a pile of manure (as was the CNN Dem debate, just an epic snoozer, but that was on the candidates not the media team).

Fair enough. I've only watched two short clips from the debate so I can't really comment. All I can say is that most of the American media is terrible. It's no wonder that some Americans feel like their only choice for decent TV news is the BBC.
