Also worth considering is how Bush is burning money on the campaign while Trump is spending far call and relying on his media presence. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I think he also just hates the Bushes
He announced his campaign the day after Jeb for example.
One of his best lines from the debate came after Jeb said something about his mum being great and Donald quipped "Maybe she should be running then". |
I'm fond of the conspiracy theory that he's a deep cover liberal who only chose to run as a means of derailing Bush's campaign and taking the piss out of the whole process. When you consider everything he's said, it makes some sense. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

He's been flirting with running for President for decades, I think it's more about ego than anything. He's also said many times he's a conservative on most issues but some like healthcare he's more liberal. For example he has a concealed carry permit and has a firearm most of the time. His economic and tax policies are almost anarcho-capitalist.
He's not a conservative, I'd call him a radical nationalist. If he does have collectivist/statist tendencies then he's probably heading towards 20s style National Socialist or Italian style Fascism... although I doubt you'll hear that one bandied about. |

Hillary has drifted to evens & Donald continues to shorten, in from 5/1 to 7/2.
He is definitely a huge chance according to the punters. _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

The pressure seems to be getting to Jeb Bush. He just posted this on Twitter the other day.

Also, in equally amusing news, jebbush.com has lapsed and the domain has been purchased by ... guess who?

Bloomberg 17/1? That's pretty short odds for someone who has repeatedly denied that they're running and would have to achieve the unprecedented task of winning as an independent... I'd back Bush and even Kasich in ahead of him.
BTW, thanks for those articles, PTID, interesting stuff. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I thought you cultural relativists would be more understanding; polls consistently show American support for the 2nd amendment.
As for the jebbush.com, while amusing it wasn't Trump who did that, it was an Australian troll but yeah, funny stuff.
I'd be more worried that Jeb was saying goodbye with that tweet, poor Jeb I like the guy.

I think you miss the point. To support the second amendment is one thing; to post a picture of a gun with the caption "America" is quite another. Like, that's what sums up America? Lethal weaponry?
Most of the clips in that video basically just made him look like an ordinary likeable guy (which I know is electoral poison in America; you have to be big man on campus every minute of the day, lest you be thought of as 'weak'). But that tweet was sad, in the sense that it made him seem like a total tryhard. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
