Just had to go into the driver settings and prevent upgrades from changing the driver, works like a charm.
Did a custom install and ticked No to most of the send info boxes.
The data mining doesn't really bother me, Google already knows everything I do. |
Ok. I'm $£$%^%%$ over 8.1
Does 10 go over the top, do I have to redo all my programs etc?
I'm thinking of calling my PC guy around the corner to do it! Or He can fix all the bugs I have with 8.1

You won't have to redo anything, it all just works and works better than 8.1 which is shit. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I upgraded to 10 then did what I could to turn their snooping crap off, but they've managed to sneak it all in under the radar in updates and I've just about given up. Still, like stui says, much better than 8.x |

Just upgraded to windows 10 last night. I swear I didn't agree to it. Totally p15sed with it. My biggest issue is that my printer will not connect. It recognizes it, but wont connect. Any ideas?
By the way, I'm a total nong as far as computers go. |

Run windows 10 at work. It has teething problems so I am waiting on Windows 11 at home. Have the Latest Surface Pro 4 and the video crashes. Microsoft have known about the issue for a while.
My advice is stick to Windows 7 until they fix Windows 10. |

I've been using Windows 10 on the home PC for months now. Once I fixed the sound issue, had no problems at all. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
