He's played less than 50 games in 8 years in the system. 8 YEARS! And clubs are talking about throwing $400k+ at him???
People on this forum lose their shit about Reid being injury prone, and this kid has played less than half the games Reid has in nearly the same time period. Are we losing our $£$%^%%$ minds? Should not even be giving this the slightest consideration, especially on the coin being talked about! |

Did he win us a premiership? No, after leaving to a "better club" where he won nothing, he came back to a premiership team and we went backwards
Getting Tarrant back did not help Collingwood, may have won if we picked up a decent player instead, could be even stronger if we found a young defender instead of a short fix that didn't help us only made us weaker |

Tarrant was solid and serviceable given N Brown's demise so lets not rewrite history and downplay his contribution. Imagine the regret on this site if we "didn't recruit him" and we lost 2011 Grand Final the same way with Reid getting smashed by Hawkins. We would have all hammered the club for not topping up.
Also agree Robbie Tarrant aint the answer. His games played and injury rate rivals that other 2003 Grand Final illuminary "Ben Kinnear"!! We don't need another one of him!

Probably would have won the GF if Taz had been moved on to Hawkins instead of leaving a winged Reid on him, but that's cool, just rewrite history to suit your narrative. It doesn't matter that Taz had been made in to an AA defender before returning to us, doesn't matter that he was easily the best available key defender at the end of 2010. Let's just rewrite history and blame 2011 on our terrible KPD rather than our stubborn old coach who refused to make the changes needed to win the game.
Oh, and I believe it was Anthony who left for a 'better team'. Tarrant was moved on by the pies, he didn't leave us. You're so full of shit. |

^ I agree but I'm pretty sure Taz initiated the move to Freo. If someone wants to go back to the news and numerous posts of the time to varify, I couldn't be stuffed
